7 spirits of Bukhara

 Bukhara is the birthplace of the seven great Sufis of the Naqshbandi Brotherhood. Great representatives of Sufism lived, led religious and social life here, who contributed to the formation and prosperity of Blessed Bukhara, the upbringing of spirituality, and raising the emotional spirit.



They are:
Abdul Abd Al-Khalika Gijduvani,
Spiritual mentor who paved the path of Nakshbandi's teachings. Abdalkhalik al Gijduvani is connected by the spiritual links of the tenth generation of the Prophet Muhammad. The iwan of the mausoleum with ten columns and supports is the symbol of the mentioned dynasty. During the time of Khoja Abdalkhalik al Gijduvani, the mausoleum was a place where people came to pray during the forty-day sweltering heat. It later became a cherished place of worship.The mausoleum of Abdalkhalik al Gijduvani, as part of the Ancient East, is a connection between earth and sky. 

Mohammed Arifa Ar Revgariy, 
This is the burial place of Murshid Khoja Arif Rivgari. He was born in the village of Revgar in the middle of the XII century, was a student of the great murshid Abdulkhalik Gijduvani. After the death of the great teacher, Haji Arif Rivgari received permission to be a spiritual mentor for other followers. Until the end of his life he was active in religious activities. He liked to say dhikr aloud. He was buried in the village of Shafirkan, Bukhara region. 

Khoja Mahmoud Anzhir Fagnaviy,
The greatest Sufi, spiritual teacher Khoja Mahmud Anjir-Fagnavi is buried here. Born near the city of Vabkent. At the beginning of his journey, he was a craftsman and carpenter. After completing his apprenticeship, he became a mentor. Mahmud Anjir-Fagnawi was the first to pronounce the dhikr loudly, believing that "sleepers should wake up." He was buried in his native village of Anzhirbog. 

Khoja Azizona (Ali Romitani)
The burial place of the famous spiritual master of the Sufi school Khojagan. The people called the Sufi "Azizon" - a venerable sheikh. Born at the end of the 12th century. in the city of Ramitan. Throughout his life he was a professional weaver. He was a student of Mahmud Fagnavi. Ali Ramitani managed to convert the Mongols to the Islamic faith. 

Bobo as Samosi,
The burial place of the famous Sufi, a follower of Khoja Ali Ramitani. Khoja Samasi made a huge contribution to the development of Sufism, predicted the birth of a great personality, creator - Bahauddin Muhammad Naqshbandi. The teacher died at the age of 95 in 1354. The holy burial is located in the village of Samas, Romitan region. 

Said Amir al Kulola,
Burial place of Khoja Sayyid Amir Kulal. During his lifetime, he was nicknamed Kalon, which means "Great". Glory overtook him long before becoming a great teacher. He was a famous talented potter. 

Khoja Sayyid Amir Kulal was a spiritual authority, had more than a hundred followers, among whom was Bahauddin Muhammad Naqshbandi. He paved the way for Nakshbandi to the foundations of Sufism, the correct reading of dhikr, and the traditions of the mystical path of Khojagan. Sayyid Amir Kulal was buried in 1370 in his native village of Sukhar.



Bahauddin Naqshbandi 

Bahauddin Nakshbandi was born in March 1318 in the family of a craftsman in the village of Kasri-Arifon near Bukhara, died and was buried in his native village, which later turned into a place of pilgrimage. He spent almost his entire life in Bukhara or not far from it. The nickname Naqshband means "applying a pattern." His first teacher was Sheikh Khoja Muhammad Babai Samasi, who later entrusted him to Sheikh Khoja Sayyid Amir Kulal. He initiated him into the society of Khojagan dervishes. Bahauddin Nakshband died in March 1389 and was buried in his native village of Kasri-Arifon.
